Life Membership Definition and Requirements

NCMS Life Membership is offered to two categories of NCMS members - Charter or Retired. Each type must meet the following criteria:

1) Charter Members must remain in continuous good standing from time of joining the Society until they retire from their principle security related occupation;
2) Retired members must have at least 20 years of continuous Society membership in good standing. (Note: Retired Life Members who return to employment in a security field will retain all rights and privileges of life membership)

The Board of Directors must approve each Life Membership. Life Members are not required to pay dues and if they wish to attend the annual seminar, their registration fee is waived (rooms, additional meals, and social function costs are the Life Member’s responsibility).

They have all the rights and privileges of, and are considered to be, Regular Members.

Retiring or Charter Members requesting Life Membership must complete this application and submit to the Society Executive Director for consideration.
