- Advance the Role of Security Professionals
- Promote the evolving role of security professionals through advocacy, education, and resource development.
- Support professional development through structured mentorship, certification pathways, and growth initiatives.
- Integrate modern information technology tools and practices to enhance operational efficiency, data management, and compliance in alignment with national security objectives.
- Influence National Security Policy
- Maintain active engagement with government agencies, stakeholders, and industry working groups.
- Advocate for inclusive representation of all Defense Industrial Base members, regardless of size or complexity.
- Deliver Targeted Resources and Guidance
- Provide tools, training, and resources aligned with key security domains across agencies, to include but not limited to:
- 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), Industrial Security Letters, and related policies
- Counterintelligence and Insider Threat
- NISP systems
- Risk Management Framework
- Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
- Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
- Provide tools, training, and resources aligned with key security domains across agencies, to include but not limited to:
