2025–2026 Board Goals & Objectives:

  • Posture the organization as a leader in security training:
    • Develop and deliver training programs aligned with evolving security challenges.
    • Host knowledge-sharing events to foster collaboration and the exchange of best practices.
    • Represent the organization in national working groups and committees shaping security policy.
    • Build strategic partnerships to expand training and professional development opportunities for members.
    • Enhance member value and engagement
  • Advance the Role of Security Professionals
    • Promote the evolving role of security professionals through advocacy, education, and resource development.
    • Support professional development through structured mentorship, certification pathways, and growth initiatives.
    • Integrate modern information technology tools and practices to enhance operational efficiency, data management, and compliance in alignment with national security objectives.
  • Influence National Security Policy
    • Maintain active engagement with government agencies, stakeholders, and industry working groups.
    • Advocate for inclusive representation of all Defense Industrial Base members, regardless of size or complexity.
  • Deliver Targeted Resources and Guidance
    • Provide tools, training, and resources aligned with key security domains across agencies, to include but not limited to:
      • 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule), Industrial Security Letters, and related policies
      • Counterintelligence and Insider Threat
      • NISP systems
      • Risk Management Framework
      • Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
      • Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
