This award is named after the founder of the NCMS Industrial Security Professional Program (ISP®). This award requires the recipient to have maintained the ISP® certification for a minimum of four consecutive years and must have been an ISP® at the time of the contributions to the program. The award is given to an ISP® based on extraordinary or unique contributions made to the ISP® program. The award was approved by the 48th board.
History
James Hickok served as the NCMS President from 2004 – 2006 and was part of NCMS for 20 plus years. Dr. Hickok was instrumental in the development of a certification program for security professionals that became the Industrial Security Program (ISP®).
