The Industrial Security Program is a multi-disciplinary security program focused on the protection of classified information developed by or entrusted to U.S. industry operating under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). This award shall be given to an individual or organization that has significantly contributed to Industrial Security. The intent is not to identify a single act or contribution which meets all criteria, but for each criterion to be supported by a distinct or separate contribution. Please provide sufficient details and substantive information to fully explain/illustrate the significance and importance of the contribution. Current NCMS board members are not eligible for this award.

History

Established in 1989 this award was originally called the Information Security Award. The 45th board in 2009 changed the award name from Information Security Award to the Industrial Security Award, with the purpose of recognizing individuals and/or organizations that have a significant contribution to Industrial Security.
